Terms of sale
Terms of sale of the VanishCam full version. Last updated: [DATE].
This English translation is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
1. Seller
VanishCam is published and sold by [FIRST NAME LAST NAME], sole trader registered in France under SIRET number [SIRET], located at [ADDRESS]. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL].
2. Purpose
These terms govern the sale of the “full version” of the VanishCam browser extension: a personal license to use the seven additional transitions (the log, leaf storm, multi-clone, mist, sand, lightning, vortex), their sound effects and all trigger gestures and seals, without a watermark. The extension, the “Teleport” transition, which shows a watermark during the transition, and the two-finger salute are free.
3. Price
The price is €3.99 including all taxes, one-time payment, no subscription. [If under the French VAT franchise: “VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code”.] The applicable price is the one displayed when you order.
The free extension may offer once, one week after installation and for 48 hours, a €1 discount on this price (code LASTCHANCE, applied automatically). This offer is not renewed and does not apply to past purchases.
4. Order and payment
You order from the extension or from this website, on the secure payment page of our provider Stripe, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay depending on your device. Payment is due immediately. Your payment details are processed by Stripe: we never have access to them.
5. Delivery
The full version is delivered immediately after payment: it activates automatically in the extension when the purchase was started from it, and a license key is shown on the confirmation page. The key can be used in your different browsers.
Requirements: a computer with a recent Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, a webcam, and Microsoft Teams used in the browser (teams.microsoft.com). The Teams desktop app is not supported. The free transition lets you check that everything works on your setup before buying.
6. Right of withdrawal
Under Article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, where performance has begun with your prior express consent and your express acknowledgment that you thereby lose this right.
When paying, by ticking the box provided, you request immediate access to the full version and expressly waive your right of withdrawal. Confirmation of this consent is sent to you [by email with the payment receipt — to be checked].
7. Legal guarantees
You benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content (Articles L224-25-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). In case of non-conformity, contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL]: we will bring the content into conformity or, failing that, refund you.
8. Customer service
For any question or complaint: [CONTACT EMAIL]. We reply within [TIME, e.g. 3 business days].
9. Mediation
If a dispute with our customer service remains unresolved, you can use the following consumer mediator free of charge (Article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code): [MEDIATOR NAME AND WEBSITE].
10. Personal data
How we process your data is described in our privacy policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and after attempting an amicable resolution, French courts have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
